Accreditations

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certifications.

Both the Quality Assurance and Environmental Management standards were achieved ahead of the target deadline. ISO certifications are internationally recognised standards which demonstrate that a company is working to best trading practices. ISO 9001 is a recognised assessment of an organisations’ customer service practice, whilst ISO 14001 is awarded when a company can show that they are using the most appropriate environmental management systems.

Kevin McLoughlin, MD, says, "This is an extra assurance for our customers that we offer the highest quality service. We are delighted to have achieved this seal of approval”.

ICI Dulux Trade Partner

This was a scheme introduced by ICI in 1998 to encourage companies to undertake and uphold the best standards of material and workmanship suitable for each particular contract. We were one of the original selected companies to be invited by ICI to join the scheme and joined in January 1999.

We have been approved and vetted by ICI’s own assessors and therefore the client can feel assured of a professional service and standard of work.

ICI also provide regular training and updates to our management staff and employees on all products and new developments.

Investors in People

Investors in People (IIP) is the national quality standard for the training and development of people. IIP provides a framework for improving our performance through setting our business objectives and developing staff to meet them.

What we had to do

To become an Investor in People, we had to be able to show that we have sound practices in place. This gives staff training and development opportunities to allow them to contribute to the performance of the organisation.

K&M McLoughlin are proud to have achieved IIP for the fourth consecutive time in February 2009.
